i'm looking for a no-frills box to 'fit' the trunk of my '03 for a 12" sub. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

 

What sub,There's to many variables.Air space,sealed,ported,tuning fequency,money.
I would say something with at least 3/4" mdf or other material.Also if it's a serious sub maybe get a box or build a box with a double face plate.

 

What are the dimensions between your strut towers? I've got 2 enclosures that fit my 1st gen CL for 1 12. 1 is more of a universal box, the other is more of an SPL box. PM me if interested...

And like Richard said, what sub, how much power, what are you trying to achieve with the setup? That will determine what kind of box you need. Also, how much space are you willing to give up? And what's your budget?

 

Isn't there a sponsored vendor in blackmarket that sells sub enclosures for CL's? I thought I saw them around.

 

Have someone make it for you like said. Dont get a prefab that you buy in stores. I was bull shytin with the local audio store guy yesterday. And we we're sharin box buildin stories and such and he told my budd that is wantin a box dont buy our crap fab boxes have one built lol.
