Hi guys.

I have a 03 CLS with a stereo problem. The drivers side speakers, front and back, stopped working. If you hit a bump, they come back on for a second, sometimes clear, some times static. I changed out the amp with no help. I pulled out the head unit, but didn't see anything wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Well, definitely sounds like a loose connection on a terminal somewhere. The fun part is finding out where exactly. Though I know you have said you have done much of what I'm about to suggest, I would start at the head unit and trace the signal all the way to the speaker. It could be loose on the speaker terminals.

Is this a factory radio or a aftermarket one?
