Angry ANy idea why the heck I get an "ere1" message on the CD player?

I just go an "ere1" error code on my CD player display. The CD changer was changing between CDs when all of a suddent it stopped and gave me the error code. I am taking it to the dealer but I am not sure why this has happened, AGAIN. You see, it also happened right after I bought my car last June. I think someone has mentioned that playing CDRs might be the problem. Why?

Understood. Have you had the same problem? TDK CDRs are thinner than other names or should I avoid playing burned CDs all together?

My 03 TL - S cd player has intermittent ere1 errors....checking around, it would appear that Acura/Honda has a real problem with their cd players. Isn't this the same game they played about transmissions for 5 years before admitting they had a problem?
