i have a 01 CL and want to hook up my sub to it. is there a way to hook up the sub dircectly from the stock amp? if so, how would i do it? im not really looking for crazy base and just want to see how it would sound. thanks?

 

Does your car come with a stock subwoofer in the first place? If yes, then check the impedence of the stock woofer. If your new sub has the same impedence, or higher, then it should work. No guarantee that it'll have enough power for you.

 

The CL didn't come with a stock sub like the TL did. The amp there runs the six speaker BOSE setup, but no sub.

Besides, if you're gonna spend the $$ on a decent sub, spend a little more to power it
