Does anyone near Northern VA know of a place that repairs amps. specifically mtx models...... my 6500D just lights up but no sound comes out........

btw ... I got the db650's in, easy as cake, they sound sweet but with no resounding BOOM at the end kinda leaves you hanging....

 

There shouldn't be any sound coming out of the amp in the first place. If you mean theres no sound coming out of the sub that the amp is pushing, check to make sure you don't have any loose or misfed wires. If indeed something is wrong with it, try contacting MTX and see what they can do for you. If you bought the sub from an authorized dealer you should have a warranty.

 

MTX will repair your amp for a flat rate. I paid like $95 to get my 2300 fixed. That includes return shipping. I think newer amps are slightly cheaper, like $80.
