Amp Question....
I just installed a new head unit in my 99 TL, and I am about to do the bypass with the EQ (connecting the line ins to the line outs i believe), but when I tried to wire up my aftermarket amp, it would not get power. I have the RCA cables plugged in, and I have wired the remote cable to the back of the new head unit along with the one that was running into the stock head unit. I also have the ground connected and the power wire from the battery connected, but I am still not getting power. I read something about having to take off the back seat to get to my stock amp and run the remote wire off the one going out of the stock amp into our 9inch sub, but I really dont want to go through the hassle of removing the back seat. Also i checked the amps fuse, and it is not blown. Once I bypass the EQ, the stock amp wont be in use any longer correct? What could be wrong with the amp, and how should I wire everything up for the best sound?? Any help would be great, thanks.
