Which amp is perfect for 2 12" Alpine Type R's?

I have 2 12" Alpine Type R speakers with 4 ohms. I am currently pushing it with a Kenwood KAC-9102D Amp and everytime i push it really hard, my fuse blows out so i'm thinking my amp is not strong enough. Which amp out there is perfect for the two subwoofers?

Its not that the amp is not strong enough you are clipping the amp. What ohm are your subs. Because there is no such thing as a single 4 ohm type R.

Type R need about 1000 watts RMS to sound good. Whats your budget. Go with a JL 1000/1 if money is no object. OR Alpine pdx 1000

Hifonics brutus bxi 1206d would be ideal if you're running them down to 1 or 2 ohms

Like DND said you are clipping your amp. If you have your speakers hooked up parallel to one another your running the amp at a 1ohm load which is causing you to blow your fuse. Run you speakers in series which will put your amp at a 4ohm load and you will be very pleased with the outcome.
I have a friend that has the same setup in a 91 CRX and he was having the same problem. I rewired the speakers in series and the amp has been running stong for about a year now without one fuse blowing. I suggest this first before going out and buying a new amp.
And if you dont trust me just look at any post from DND2984 and you will see that he really knows what he is talking about. good luck.

Phoenix Gold is poop. BUT!!.... they were the ish. From the shit to the pooh in 10 years. So sad. I had two ZPA0.5's in mint condition. Lost them both on an ebay scam. I now have two XS6600's and two XS2500's. Those are the last of the good amps produced by Phoenix. The Xenon series was the last acceptable product produced by them.

Can't wait for my bridge chip to come in for my brutus so I can have a bad ass amp Inherited a blown brutus, took it to a repair guy I know, all it needed was the bridging chip.

From what I understand is that your currently running your speakers at a 1ohm load and your amp is not stable at that low level of an ohm so it's causing your amp to shut off to reduce the risk of doing any real harm to itself. If you still have the book for your amp try to see what ohm your amp will run stable when it is bridged. Also if you have the time take one of your speakers out of the box and tell us how you have them wired. (left+ to right+ & left- to right- or if they are connected different than that). This will confirm how you are running you speakers which will also tell us what ohm you have them at.
Try this link to see if it gives you a better idea of what different ways you can run you speakers
