ok car audio isnt my thing so snicker and laugh but im lookin to power my JL 12W6 300 w rms

already have an eclipse amp so im lookin to stay the same

i just dont know how to read amp stats

310W × 2 Channel Max. Power Output at 2
200W × 2 Channel 0.1% THD at 2 Stereo, 20–20,000Hz@13.8V (RMS Continuous Power)
130W × 2 Channel 0.1% THD at 4 Stereo, 20–20,000Hz@13.8V (RMS Continuous Power)

those are the stats

now is that amp gunna put out 310W ( which im lookin for )

or 200 ??? anyone care to explain ??

That amp seems to be very weak. You will almost never get 310 watts per channel. Also, you will only get 200 wpc if you have both speakers at 2 ohms, 130 wpc if both at 4 ohms. From the stats, it looks like you be able to achieve 200w x 1 driving one 4 ohm sub.

In conclusion, I would recommend a more powerful amp to achieve 300w x 1.
