Amp/dx6/sub Install

I am sick of the Blose system, and thanks to the research of people on this board, purchased 2 sets of the Polk DX6 speakers. I also bought an Alpine MRP-F320 5 channel amp, and am looking for a sub...

I am a COMPLETE newbie to the car audio world, and I have a few questions about the install:

1) Where exactly is the stock Blose amp... and how do i get to it safely without damaging the car?

2) Can I use the prexisting wiring than runs between the Blose amp and the 4 component speakers to wire between my Alpine and and Polk DX6's?

3) Are there any additional components that I need to purchase (more specifically: can i just connect the input and power wires that went into the bose amp into the new alpine one?)

4) Would I be better off with the Rockford Fosgate RMB 8 in the stock sub spot, or going with a 10" or 12" sub in the trunk?

5) I see no need to keep that crappy stock sub connected (assuming I go with the sub in the trunk)... any reason to keep it... if so how should I connect it?

6) What exactly is the link with the step by step instructions for installing the DX6... I tried clickin on someone's PDF file, but it was down..

7) Any other helpful suggestions would be awesome!

Thanks... feel free to answer any/all of these questions... it would be a GREAT help!

Do not go with RMB8 if you are looking for a sub that can pound the trunk and the back of your seat since RMB8 will not give you that.
If you prefer loud bass, you better off putting a box in your trunk.
Hope this helps.

Cheers !!!

Sorry... one more question:

8) Is it ok if I get a sub that has a frequency resp. of 30 - 150 Hz... will this system sound bad slightly above 150 Hz..?
