amp dilemma

i'm getting two jl w3's from my cousin and i am stuck on what kind of amp to get. i have narrowed the decsion to a few different amps:

Soundstream XTA880.2
Hifonics BX1205D
Hifonics TX1005D

i did some research on these two companies and they both seem like very good companies. now i really dont know which amp to go with. i want something that will make the w3's hit hard as well as being good quality, reliable, and last long. i want an amp that wont have any problems with the w3's and wont overheat.

so which amp would you go with or recommend?

btw, im leaning more towards the soundstream.

I think others will back me up on this one...

Why would you want to go with amps from 2 companies that used to make quality product (back in the day), but now make 3rd rate stuff?

Think about it - for a few dollars more you can get a better amp from a company that is on top of the game now.

im open to any other suggestions for amps. im not stuck to just these two brand of amps. what other brands would you guys recommend in the same price range. the reason i picked these two brands is because my cousin who used to be heavily into car stereos recommended these two brands. so i went ahead looking for amps from these companies.

That amp would work. Just remember to watch out for the gain. In a perfect world, that amp would be doing around 900w-1000w at 1.5ohm. That's a bit too much for any w6v1s to handle.

well i ended up purchasing a ppi pcx-2200. i installed everything and wow this thing is mind boggling. it starts to make your ears and nose itch! i only have one problem, i hear a buzzing noise from my speakers. it gets louder as the rpm's get higher. i think it is one of the grounds. what do you guys think?

If you do a search there are multiple threads on the whining, I have been living with mine for a year and have tried about everything to get rid of it Here is a pretty resent thread with a good discovery: https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/%5Btsx%5D-help-strange-audio-whine-331922/

I have tried about everything else such as dedicated ground/power to the HU and AMP, moving the crossovers around, upgraded all of the wiring, nothing seems to help but as in the thread, putting my finger on the RCA's seems to diminish the sounds alittle.
I got a PPI 800.5, hope to install it this weekend if I have time.

Ground loop isolator, or find another ground, where are you grounding to in the trunk?
