Listening to tunes on my way home from work last night, and the music stopped!

There is power to the head unit and the amp, but no sound.

When I turn the head unit on, I get anywhere from 1/2 - 2 seconds worth of music, then it stops! I turn the head unit off, then seconds later, turn it back on, and I get the same thing (a blip of sound, then nothing)!

Any suggestions?
