Are the Alpine Type R SWR-1040D subs any good?
I just ordered the 10" Alpine Type R SWR-1040D sub.

Impedance (Ohms) 4
Power Handling (RMS watts) Up to 300
Peak Power Handling (watts) 1000
I have a small sealed box and I also have an Alpine V12 T407 amp that produces 400 X 1 watts. I don't want something so loud and over powering my stock Bose system, but I want a lil thump in the back without spending too much. Would this be enough to to power this sub? Is this a good sub? Thanks in advance.
