My car got broken into and they stole mt PPI PC1400 amp. I got an alpine MRV-m300 to replace it. Its supposed to be 300x1 @ 2ohms. Well i hooked it up and it barely pushes my 12" kappa perfect. The amp is all digital so to adjust the gain u have to push buttons to display the digital read out. I think i adjusted it right but it still will not push the sub. I know its working because i can hear it but it honestly sounds like i have no sub..just amplified interior speakers.
So do u think its the amp which is not strong enough for the sub or what? My ppi was pushing 400 RMS @ 2 ohms to the sub. The alpine is 300 RMS.

If anyone wants to buy the amp ill sell it for 170. I paid 250 for it and its 1 day old. Just make sure ur not trying to push JLw6. perfects, or any good sub. Im thinking it would work with a JLw0.
