Does anybody by any chance know where I can buy this unit?
I've e-mailed about 5-6 Japanese sites that sell it, so far only one of them replied, saying that they cant ship outside Japan...

if its only sold in japan, why isnt there Japaneese writting on all the buttons and stuff??

 

Alpine will probably release this model around the world, but it wont be till next year.
So far it's only offered for the Japanese market, I am just hoping that one of the retailers is willing to ship the unit to the States...

 

i just ordered mine. I found one thing that will cause a problem though. We wont be able to use our FM channels. PM me, and I will give you details.

yah..some models are only sold in japan..some of my friends went to japan and brough back some nice head units..and only avalaible in japan....

 

Mine is on order, and I should have it soon. I'll post pics when its done. That deck looks awesome. The only problem is I would have to buy the tv tuner module to get the FM radio to work, since our frequencies are higher in the US.
