Does anyone have any good information in this unit yet? The website description is very vague. Its suposed to control "any" USB MP3 player.... i guess?

I have an extra laptop hard drive mounted in a portable USB case, im wondering if I could use the KCA-620M to get music from this drive...?

Any input would be great!

 

I just saw that on Alpine's website while looking at the IVA-W200 (my next radio). You pose a good question, I would be interested to see if that works also.

my bad, i couldnt delete the 1st linked post. The 2nd link is a link to a document alpine wrote about the module in more detail. It gives more detail about how it will perform and it states that it will work with usb enclosed hard drives.
