Does the alpine iva w205 and w505 fit in the 2nd gen TL? crutchfield site says only the iva d106 does. Anyone install either of these units?

 

They will fit, but no one make a dash kit for it. Someone in the forums actually makes a custom kit and sells them, not sure who. That's the reason Crutchfield says on the IVA-D106 fits because only a single din kits is available for the 2nd Gen TL.

 

oh, makes sense.. i thought it was because the shift knob gets in the way of the screen when it folds down to eject a disc. especially the w505 with the bigger screen. Thanks.
