Are the alpine harnesses compatible across the line? I have two units I want to switch, and they are both alpine...

They are not all interchangeable, but most newer units have the wiring diagram across the top. If the connectors fit, just check the diagrams to see... worst case, go to alpine1.com, click on Tech Center, click on Consumer in the lower left corner, and look up the wiring diagram for your two units that way...

 

there is only two current alpine harnesses out there. ones a black plug, ones a clearish white plug. if the plug area on the back of the HU is black, the black one will work, if it is clearishwhite then a clearish white harness will work
