Well, i've been contemplating whether to get the Pioneer DVD/Navi Combo with the AVX-7300 monitor and a CD player or the Alpine Navi set up, with additional DVD player.
I like the fact that Pioneer is cheaper and only uses one unit to play either the DVD movie or Navi disc. I also like the fact that it's voice command.

So what does the Alpine have that the Pioneer set up doesn't?

By the way, if you have the Alpine monitor, navi, and the dvd player, can you listen to a cd on the dvd player while the navigation disc is running on the monitor? Or is there something i don't know about when it comes to playing an audio cd at the same time as having navigation run on the monitor?
Just curious how that would work.
