I have an Alpine CHM-5620 6 disk change and all of a sudden its not reading the cds. It goes through all the disks but wont play any track...I took out the magazine and put it back still it wont work..any help would be appreciated.

are the cd's burned or store bought...

 

all the cds are burned....but they have always played burn cds since I have the car for bout 6 months with no problem like this...It goes through all the discs, so I think its not reading them...maybe the lens or laser needs cleaning...maybe the magazine is the problem..what do ya'll think.

 

I am also having the same issue with my CHM-s620 changer. One answer I got was that the lens was found to be dirty, another said that repairs will equal the cost of a replacement changer...

Any luck with yours?

 

i ended up gettin new one....if urs is under warranty then send it back to Alpine...
