Alpine CDA-7998 HELP! -EQUALIZER/CROSSOVER HELP

Hey, so apparently Alpine's website will format the crossover and equalizer for the cda-7998 that i have, but i dont know what frequencies im supposed to use for the subwoofer, front and rear speakers. Ive got kicker comps up front, jl 6x9s in the back and 2 alpine type r 10s in the trunk. if anyone has this headunit and has programmed it or anyone know what kind of frequencies on the crossover and equalizer to apply to these please let me know.
THanks
John

Without an RTA, you pretty much have to do it by ear..... If you bought it from a shop, the salesman or installer should be able to show you how to get started with it, and you just have to fine-tune it to what you like the best!

My understanding of how Ipersonalize works is not that they set all the adjustments perfectly for you. You have to input quite a bit of info, and you just burn the settings you get onto different CD's. When you do that, the player automatically loads those settings. You could have different settings for Rock, Rap, Oldies, whatever......

So what i had to do is get the info from the website of the speakers that i have to find the slopes, and frequencies.

I entered all the data in the website burned the disc and played lots of various music from rock to jazz to play with it to what my ear liked.

Your PM is full

So I am using MB Quart Q Series for my front. See
http://www.mbquart.com/2003/en_US/mb..._cross_ref.asp

And you will see a section that shows crossover slope. I don't really know what it does. But I set it anyway.
