Does anyone have this headunit installed? Any comments, good or bad? I'm going to get one soon, but I'm not sure which to get. Any suggestions?

I have it. Ron from StreetEffectz installed it for me. Looks great. He is working on the faceplate for me. StreetEffectz is awesome place. Great Guys too.

Anyways, get the 7998, remember its pre-amp only. No Amp Built into it.

 

Thanks for the reply. I've actually been talking with Ron and I'm probably going to order it from him. I wish I could get him to install my stuff, but I am to far away. I'd love to see a pic if you have one.

So if its a pre-amp how can it be hooked into the stock system then?

 

You can always hook it to the stock Bose amp .

I doubt anyone who considers getting that head unit would wanna deal with the stock junks.
