Alpine audio setup

guys, i need ur help cuz i dont know **** about car audio!

i want 2 12in Alpine Type R subs (1000w MAX, 300w RMS) and an amp to go with them.. what kind/model of amplifier do i need? and also what is the best, 4ohm or 2ohm subs?

im not gonna change my HU for now but when i do i plan on getting something good.. like the Alpine IVA-D900 (dvd, mp3, cd, satellite), is it a good choice???

and id get 2 6.5in OR 2 5.8in monitors for the headrests..

so please, tell me about the amp, and if these are good choices!

i would run 2 alpine d class m500, one to each sub, make sure get the dual 4ohm version

ooo I am liking the D900. Thats my dream monitor, after I get my college expensives out the way I want that and new amps.

personally i think that one alpine m500 would do the trick with the dual 2 ohm 12s... but that is me... as for the iva-d900 that **** is ill.... i seen it in the store the other day and the picture on it is so clear... even the eclipse next to it could not compair... as for the headrest monitors i would go with 6.5 for sure...
