Question Aftermarket Sub

Hello AcuraZine Community!

I know that this site has done quite a lot to cover the process of upgrading a User's sound system (and I've done quite a lot of reading, trust me). First the Specs then the question:

2003 Acura TL Type-S
All Stock

My problem Is that I have a 12" Sub-woofer (boxed, JL) with and amp mounted on the side (Jensen Power 760.4, 4 channel obviously) that I pulled out of my totaled '01 Prelude (RIP ). Now I have done my own audio on every car I owned but this one proves to be a mental challenge for me. From what I read I should bypass the stock sub amp behind the back seat and rewire the Stock HU to go straight to my amp in the back. I've taken apart the car relatively and am about to purchase my Amp wiring kit (8 gauge). Can I pull out my HU and connect the kit to it and run power through the firewall to the box and the back and disconnect the stock Sub without messing with the satellites in the rear? If so do I need to solder anything? do I need to purchase additional hardware? Is this as simple as I think it is?

Synopsis:
I want to turn off the 8" sub and power up my 12" JL

Thanks for the consideration I look forward to getting this done as soon as possible!

If you want the easiest way... Disconnect the sub plug and connect both + and - and make 2 RCAs bridged.
It Works with no problems (Had it that way Before Upgrading HU) but to Make the Sub AMP turn on with HU you will need the orange connector on the sub control box behind the passenger seat.
