Aftermarket NAVI
what do you guys think about hte Pioneer AVIC-N1 CAR Navigation, read soem reviews people seem to say its good, but only thing is that some people say the fan is really loud... would that fit the tsx just fine?
Here is my poor man's Nav system... but it works pretty well. Since I have a few cars, It can be easily moved from car to car, as well as taking it to travel. Not to mention all sorts of programs that can be used with a PDA.
1. Compaq iPAQ PDA (Any PDA supports by the GPS mouse will work)
2. GPS mouse that connects to the PDA - It comes with a free PDA mount. http://www.semsons.com/itmousgpsrec.html
3. Navigation software - http://www.rayming.com/product.aspx?catalogid=19
Total cost = approx. $300
Btw, did I mention it's voice navigation?
Some reviews on the GPS mouse. http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/itrekmouse.php

What up man...I have the Pioneer N1. You can check my sig for pictures.
I really like the N1 a lot. The only complaint I have about it is there is not a seperate drive for the Navi Rom. You have to take out the disc you have in there to use the Navi. The deck will remember exactly where you were in the disc with the Resume feature, but it's still a hassle. There a new Kenwood unit out there though, that does have a seperate Navi unit or you could just get the Pioneer 7500 DVD and add Navi to that. Both are more pricey, but might be worth it for you. For me it's not a big deal since I commute everyday and know where I'm going but I just thought I'd mention it. The N1 probably cost about 1200 on ebay and the other combos will probably run you close to $2000 for the equipment.
Also...For your mount of the deck I recommend getting the mp3 attachment kit and using that. Let me know if you need the part number.
Hope that helps man. K

I just saw this in Crutchfield. It looks kind of interesting. It's a Portable Navi, but it also stores like 10 gigs of Mp3s. Pretty tight!
