Hey guys I want to replace my stock headunit with an aftermarket one. What do you guys recommend? I also have 2 JL subs I want to hook up to this headunit. I'm really new to this, and just wanted to see which company and model I should go with. Thanks alot!

clarion's got hot stuff in 2007.. check em out... also high-end eclipse headunits are great.. alpine is very good too...

I would go with Alpine, Pioneer or Eclipse for a headunit. IPOD can be integrated with most of the newer decks. But you will need the special accessory cable/device that will allow you to hook it up to the deck. For the subs you will need an amplifier and a wiring kit, plus some RCA cables. The sub amplifier should have equal amount or more power than both of your subs combined.

If you are getting a deck,amp,subs I don't see a reason why not to upgrade all the speakers as well. Most likely the subs will be overpowering your speakers and the system will sound like poop. Unless of course you're a bass junkie and clarity of sound is not important.
