I am considering an Acura TSX. I know the stock audio system will not do for me, but also know that the stock system looks like a bear to replace. I would consider installing a head unit in the lower dash area (directly in front of the shifter) and it seems that there is enough room for one there, plus I would have the advantage of closing the door over it which would be nicely stealthy.

Could I leave the stock system in tact and just work around it? I would like to be able to return the car to stock when I sell it.

So, does anyone have a TSX witha full aftermarket system? I would like some ideas before I jump on this car. (photos would be great, too!)
