Adire Brama mkII

anybody have experience with this line of speakers and does it really handle 1600 watts rms?

my buddy is selling one and i thinkin of takin it.

I have not had any hands on with them but from everything I have read on them over the years, they are awesome subs with great power handling and excellent sq.

I have one with a broken tinsel lead. i THINK it was the mark III, but im not sure, id have to double check.

I can send you some pics if you are interested. I have box for it also.

Yes. I have one in a sealed box, about 1.6 cu. ft. Adire audio is now defunct.
Mine, I believe is rated around 1200w into 4ohms.

thats kinda of big for a sealed enclosure, is that the recommended air space?

if i buy this sub, can i power it with a 500 watt rms amp for a while.


i'd have to put some money together to buy a new amp and redo the amp wiring from 8 gauge to 4 gauge. this would probably take a few weeks, and i dont have much patience, i know once i get the sub i'm going to want to throw it in the enclosure and give it a listen.

I dunno... My box is hand made by me self. With all the cross-bracing, displacement et all, its probably closer to 1.2. Which is what is recommended.

I'm powering mine with a 500w audison vrx-- which barely gets warm in a completely stealth space. My son's adire Shiva 12in can get his little ornament dangling from his rvm to dance all over the place. He has a T3002 powering it.
