adding a sub/amp necessary?
adding a sub/amp necessary?
i have a JL 10w3 sub in a sealed box, and a rockford fosgate 160a2 amp. i was thinking of hooking it up to my cl, but im not too good with electrical components. anybody with a similar setup, did you really need the amp, and where did you mount it, how hard was the install, any information please elaborate. thanks in advance.
You will HAVE to have a separate amp. For the 10W3 you will need something with a decent amount of power.
As far as the install, I would suggest that you get someone to do it for you because it is not the easiest thing in the world, especially if you haven't done it before.
For a simple install I would even suggest that you get with a board member in your area to do the install with you. The bose system that we have is easier to work with if you know how it works.
