adding an MP3 hard drive player

I would like to add an mp3 player to my 2002 TL-S. I have the stock headunit, what would be the easiest way of adding this player to my current setup. I am looking at buying the NEO from SSIAmerica. Any thoughts, I am thinking my only option is using an FM modulator, however I am open to other options, does the stock bose have line level audio inputs (RCA) on the back?

thanks in advance.

Is there any specific MP3 player you want to connect to the stock HU? If you buy a blitzsafe adapter you can hook up any MP3 player to it. The best solution I have found is the iPod Icelink interface. Check out this link from A-CL audio forum. skyeflye also has a nice DIY for it too.

i just recently bought a neo jukebox for my car i ordered the blitzsafe adapter so i wont have to use the FM modulator. this thing is gonna be awesome!

with the FM modulator, it will sound like crap. so get the blitzsafe adapter. i got it from www.logjamelectronics.com the model number is HON/AUX DMX V.1 and it is about $70 USD. good luck!

how did this setup work out for you? what do you do in terms of installation? you hook up the blitzsafe to the back of your radio, then connect a Y cable to the blitzsafe, and the Y cable to the headphone jack of your mo3 player??

So you didn't end up using the Neo?

HOw did the display look? Do you happen to know if the load times were fast?
