adding 1 sub to the trunk i need suggestions

i have an 03 TL that i am upgrading the audio in. i just bought the alpine iva-d310 fold out tv, i want to add a sub to teh car to replace the crappy bose that can no longer be used. whati want to do is add the sub in a location that is out of the way and not blockin the mat where the spare tire is.... i was thinkin of mounting an 8" sub in the rear deck where the bose one was.?????? or i wanted to put a 10" sub on the left side of the trunk where thay little cubby hole thing is.... can anyone help me dicide. i need to know the pros anc cons of each situation. oh yea i am using a jl audio W3 (8" or 10") and 500/1 and 300/4 amps and will need to mount them out of the way too. I NEED PICS BADLY. so if anyone has pictures of this in their car then please post them. i have done many searches and havent found what i was lookin for. can anyone tell me how to fiberglass if that is neccessary.

thanks in advance
chris

There are web tutorials on how to fiberglass. If you've never done it before it's a tough project. See ifyou can practice on someone else's car first.

For what you want I don't think an infinite-baffle 8 is a good choice. For a low-power system maybe but not for what you are doing. You need a glassed-in 10".

Would this work for you?

I bought the AudioBahn Cylinder style enclosure....i looks like a tube that your 12 can fit in, it's out of the way, sits on that lip right behind the spare tire and hits a ton, maybe Ebay that, i found it cheap

It's hard to tell over the Internet if you can glass or not. I suck at it personally - it works, but it's not pretty like Justin's glass work is.

I'd offer to sell you a box but we're backlogged in orders and it would be a while before I could ship.

I am assuming that you are looking for something akin to this:

IN answer to your questions take a look at these, they might help you get an idea of how to go about building a boxfor that corner of your TL:

well keep in mind that that is a 12 I have in my trunk, so it had to come out some. An 8 or a 10 w3 would be much easier to get flushed back further.
