You just need to get a line out converter, and tap into the wires going into the bose amp in the trunk, then run ur power, ground, and remote(also taps into bose amp) It all depends on how much you want to spend, I shopped around and got a used amp off someone here, and managed to do whole thing for $200 not including wires, it does the job for me.

I bought the CableLink from www.linkmeup.com to provide the line output from the head unit. Then I ran the wires to an Infinity Basslink in the trunk. It does the job of adding bass to the stock system and doesn't take up too much room.

I bought the basslink off ebay (new) for about $200. The CableLink was around $45, and the rest of the wires were around another $40 from Best Buy. This total solution cost me right around $300. I think it does a nice job of rounding out the stock system, if that is all you are looking to do.

DIY?

Are you gonna put this in yourself? This is not an easy task in this car. The CableLink and Infinity sub are your best option. Quite a bit easier to install. Using a line-out converter is good. But I have a better way to boost your amp output.

does any body who used line out converters get engine noise?
I get really bad engine noise/whine after I got the signal from the low level outputs from the head unit ... especially when I turn on the A/C.
