Talking Adapters

Where can i get myself an S-Video to RCA converter. I have a Dell laptop with an S-Video out, but need it to convert to RCA to plug into my video-navi kit

Any ideas?

Radio Shack has Cat.#: 15-1238, but it's composite video to S-Video conversion. It might work in the reverse direction too. In fact, I recall the product package saying this. Check it out.

HOw many inputs can the vedeo navi kit take? Are you gonna just use the laptop as your primary source of input?
I gues this way you can remove it whenever you want.
I was thinking about teh same thing. Where r u gonna mount it? IF you are going to mount it in the car.

the video navi kit only has one source for input and one output. I am going to use the laptop for the time being until i decide on what i am going to do with the car and if what type of video system i am going to have done to it. some many mods, sooooo little time! (and money ).

Monster Cable carries one that will convert S-video to composite and vice versa. It is expensive though, $99.

are u peeps tellin me that, I could run winamp through my stereo, usining a laptop. could this be done, also play movies etc. holla back

You maybe able to using the RF Modulator. and the correct connection. I think this is definitely possible. But it may sound low or have distortion in the background depending on the RF Modulator you buy.
