Acura USB/iPod Interface

Hi eveyone. I was hoping you could help me out with an RDX/TSX question.

I have a TSX and RDX (2009s, with navi), obviously the TSX has a USB/iPod port and the RDX does not. I was wondering if it is possible to buy the USB Auxiliary unit from the TSX and put it into the RDX. What I would really like to know is if anyone knows what this unit actually is?

I found the part (PN: 39113-TL2-A01, ADAPTER UNIT, USB (A-TYPE)) or you can see it at this link: http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Does anyone know what this thing actually plugs into? I'm assuming it plugs into the audio unit and not the navigation unit but I'm not sure exactly HOW?

Any help (or pictures of the audio / navi unit) would be awesome.

THANKS!
SK

One more note. The main reasons for me doing this are:
- Integration into the Navi screen to show tracks
- Ability to use mass storage devices (USB Hard Drive)
- Maybe attach an iPod/iPhone 3G

And the broken link above should be: http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Well I dont really like to just run into things. I'm assuming that it uses the DIN connection on the back of the audio head unit but I cant confirm this, their both Panasonic units (ELS equipt). I may just have to buy it and see if it works but I was hoping some audio guys might be able to shead light on it for me?

Thanks,
SK

Did you get this to work? Am very interested in doing the same. I'm sure this will be a standard feature in 2010 model, but I couldn't wait for a new car...bummer!
