First- this website is really great. I have found most of the answers to all of my questions about my 99tl stock system.. I still have two questions.
- I used to have an Acura Vigor and I had an Alpine 6 Disc CD changer install. The Apline is compatible with the stock head unit. Then when I bought my 99 tl, I realized that my stock head unit does not play CD-R's, so I bought an Alpine 6 Disc CD changer. Alpine worked fine ( played CD-R's) but once in a while when I start the car up, it gives me an error message when I try to play the 6 Disc CD Changer...The Audio store replaced the Apline and rewired it for for free, but every now and then I still get the error message. The stock HU stills plays normal CD, but for some reason it does not recognize the Apline CD changer. The Acura dealership told me that they are limited to what they can do b/c the 6 Dis CD CHg was not an Acura part. So I took back the Apline and I am going to buy the Acura Stock 6 Disc CD changer ( that goes in the trunk) ..... If it still acts funny then I know there must be something wrong with the stock head unit....

2 questions...does anyone know why it is giving an error message, and does the Acura Stock 6 Dis CD Changer( that goes in the trunk) play CD-R's?
