Bazooka Tubes?

Looking for some more bass without going all out - I use my trunk often so I do not want to use too much space. I was thinking of a 10" Bazzoka Tube.

I just wanted some opinions on the tube itself or any other ideas. I have heard mixed things about them. I plan on using the stock HU.

I live near Ron and seen a few guys around here that had work done by him and it is QUALITY!!! I am not going to go bother him for a "small time" tube, but if I get some other ideas I definitly plan on calling him.

I was informed a little while back that bazooka tubes are not worth it for the money unless you have something like a hatchback where the bass is not closed off in a trunk area. True, low frequencies should travel through everything but apparently the bazooka tube alone doesn't provide enough 'oomph' to push it through so clearly. So I guess it'll work if u want a little extra over the stock but not a lot.

8" NOS Bazooka tube

I recently had a 8" Bazooka NOS tube put in my TL-S with an Alpine 2 channel amp and it sounds great. I even had to turn down the gain level. I don't listen to my music loud, but the passive tubes have a lot of oummp. I heard the active tubes don't last that long. Looks good and sounds great.

You can shoot over to Ron and see what he recommends for your bass problem...

how are you, listen if u are interested in a bazooka tube , I have one that was used for only about 1-2 months, on a stock dodge radio so u know it wasn't abused at all. Once I got my tl-s, i took the tube out of my intrepid and put it in my room. Since then it is still just sitting in my room, waiting to be used. It is an 8 inch with a built in 100 w amp. I am really lookin to get rid of it because i don't wanna do any mods like that to my tl-type S, and its a waste of space in my room. They usually go for about $300-350, i will give it to u for $220 or if u wanna talk more about price that is fine with me, its not broken or anything, in fact it is in really excellent shape--I'M JUST LOOKIN TO GET RID OF IT. So please respond, and maybe we can make arrangements.
