Accessing the TSX kick panel for audio installs

Hi all,

I've seen lots of posts referencing use of the right kick panel for splicing AV cables. Does anyone have documentation for how to do this? For starters, which one exactly is the right kick panel? Photos would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Sorry, no pics on the web. But basically what you do is pull the black threshold piece up on the passenger side. That would be that black plastic piece that sits between the carpet and the "Acura" skid plate deal you see when you open the door(On the drivers side it has the trunk release and gas lid release). Start from the rear and pull up in about 3 places till you get to the front of it.

Once that's out, you can pretty much pull the kick panel out by grabbing it from the bottom and pulling straight out.

The plug you want is right there when you get it off.

There's a plastic connector on that kick panel too. Make sure to be a little careful when you pull it off. It should pop right off though. Also make sure that it's lined up when you reinstall it.
