This was me after i installed the new radio.
I wanted to upgrade my radio. So I was determined to get the factory 6disc InDash CD Changer out of an 02+ TL or CL. I finally got one and it fits perfectly in to place with out a problem! If you want to upgrade your radio and you dont want yo loose the functionality of the controls on the steering wheel then do this simple upgrade. The hardest part is finding the radio...

 

i assume you had to use the 02-03 "stationary holder" rather than our cd holder right?

 

Acutally No! I have a Navi so the climate controls went above the radio. Everything fits perfectly...

 

was it a TL or CL radio? Which year?

 

CL radio does not fit. It's been tried before. I guess because we have a different setup, sub vs tweeters.

My Radio came out of a 03 TL... As a matter of fact it eve sounds better, like it's putting out more wattage, it even seems louder. I give this simple upgrade ...

It will fit in your 00'TL. The only difference is you will need to get the tray instead of the climat controls. s0ph3aktra If you need this tray i will send it to you for free if you pay for the shipping.
I bought it for $200.00 Out of a brand new 03' TL.
I will try to take pictures for those of you who have requested.

 

where can you find one of these radios. I want to put on in my car.

 

best thing i can advise is ask around the forum, or find a friend who want's to sell theirs, Also be sure to get the security code so you can unlock it as well...
