I went to a couple of places and what I got was

1. panasonic 1599.00
2. clarion 1800.00
3. kenwood 2200.00

They include mp3, Dvd, and cd playing capabilities.
Install 100-150, I am kind of new to this stuff but the guy said these were top models. Touch screen is not a must. What do you guys think?? Any websites, companies, HELP!!!!

 

Sorry if unclear, but I want the the dvd/headunit player that comes out and pops up and like I said touch screen is not a must. Also prices reflect a 7" screen.

 

the pioneer need a brain unit to do everything you want it to do and when the screen isnt out there isnt a display
the clairon has a display when it is folded up so you can still see what track your on and stuff like that it, its also touchscreen and the brain unit for it only decodes dolby digital and dts so if that doesnt matter to you then i guess you wouldnt need it

 

The Kenwood is an all in one kit. You can find better prices on Ebay. The Clarion is almost all in one, it doesn't have a tv card. Both of those are touch screens. I would put the panasonic as #4, and put Pioneer in the mix of the top 3. You can get a AVH-7490DVD or AVH-7480DVD that plays dvd, 7" screen, but not a touch screen. Go to a nice audio shop, or Sound Advice and bring a DVD with you to play on it. Mess around with them and see how they look/feel to you. I think I am leaning towards the Pioneer AVH-7480DVD.

Which panasonic model are you going to get? You can find new Pioneer's for about that on Ebay.
