Head unit question...very important..
i guess i should have asked this question before i bought my head unit...but..i am getting the alpine cda-7998...and it has no internal amp...would my speakers still be able to work off of that head unit...thinking about this question....it sounds stupid..but i need to know...thanks

uhhhm lookinga t your equipment list it seems you will need an amp. I think you can still use the factory one (I am not sure if it is part of the stock headunit or not). Speakers will not work without an amplifier of some sort... Nice deck though

Damnit...I think my bro has a 50X4 cheap ass amp...a jensen i think...i'll just use that until i buy new speaks...thanks for your help though...o and also for the 2.2 CL...the amp is in the head unit..

oops sorry didn't notice the year of your car. That sucks though. The Jensen should be fine with the stock speakers, but you will probably want to upgrade the amp and speakers very soon to stack up to your shiny new Alpine HU

Yes i know...i am going to college in a month...so i'll have time to actualy work and get some $...so definately by x-mas time..i'll have new speaks and amp for them...then my system will be complete...then it'll be time to save up for the h22

Nah man...I haven't heard anything from them yet...the site still says that it isn't in stock yet...so here I wait for my head unit 
...but i have plenty of time to wait...cuz my dad wants me to leave my spare tire in my car...but i'm just gonna wait a couple more weeks till i go to college anyway to install my system...but i'll tell you once i get it in...i'll even show it off to you also...
