looking to power front components, and 2 8" subs with a 5 channel amp. does anyone have any suggestions on any good 5 channel amps?

 

JL e6450, check out last months PASMAG: 4 X 89 W, and 1 X 200 (with built in high input converters and all relevent crossovers).
JL 500/5, a little more money, better crossovers, more flexible, slightly better sound if the rest of your equipment is top notch.
McIntosh MCC406M, a lot more money, but oh so sweet!
