5 or 6 Ch. Amps

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good quality 5 or 6 ch. amp such as the Kicker ZX700.5 (2 ohms 85 watts x 4 + 420 watts x 1) or Infinity 5761a (56 w rms x 4 + 107 w rms x 2 at 4 ohms ) Anyone know of other good amps? I've seen the JL audio and its like 75x6 @ 2 ohms. Can this run as a 5 ch. or do I need one w/ a class D amp on it? Thanks for your help.

I have the JL e6450 and you can bridge any channels to make it a 6,5,4,3 channel amp. I bridge the last 2 channels to power a single 12w3v2 sub and its plenty loud. Depending on the sub your going to power, it would be fine, something in the 200-400 watt RMS range. I wouldn't recommend it if you were powering 2 subs, just not enough power in my opinion. I love the amp, I crank it all the time and live in Phoenix when its 115 out and never had the amp thermal and sounds good for the price, got it for 300 new on ebay.

Based on experiences with current Kicker amps brought into our store by customers, I'd avoid those POS's like the plague. JL has good build quality, Zapco, DLS, Arc, audison, have good build AND sound quality.
