I assume this is a TSX?
If so,
The rear deck and rear door speakers are feed from the rear output of the HU. The factory amp splits the feed for the deck and door speakers. If all of the rear door speakers are dead then first check the fader setting on the HU (audio setup). Make sure its in the center. If it is then it is unlikely that something broke in your amp that would cause only the rears to go out, not impossible just unlikely.

The next thing is to see if you are still in warrantee and bring it back to Acura.

If you are out of warrantee and want to fix it yourself I’ll tell you what to do next.

OK,
Go to the Audio FAQ section https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/%2A%2Aaudio-video-diy-info-faq-all-models-%2A%2A-299065/ and scroll down the to TSX area. Read all the info on removing the center console (follow the links and look at the photos) and accessing the amp.

When you have access to the amp remove and reseat both plugs. If this doesn’t fix it then you will have to check for signal from the HU. You will need access to a Digital voltmeter DVM or an old fashion analog AC voltmeter to do this. It is not to hard to do but try the reseat first.

You’re not actually “resetting” the amp, sometimes the connectors are not seated properly or develop a poor contact. Reseating them can correct this.

When you find out how to remove the radio post it. Someone was looking for that info last week!

Back to your problem, the next thing to do is check for output from the HU. To do this you need an AC voltmeter or DVM. Do you have access to one?

You can pick up a meter cheap, anyone of these will do but the digital one is easy to use.

The signals from the HU are on the smaller 14 pin connector. Remove this connector from the amp. With the connector off it is a simple mater to test to see if the HU is working on all four channels.

Check post #13 here https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5283595 for a picture and pinout of the 14 pin connector.

Set your meter for AC volts, if the meter has a voltage range selection set it for the setting nearest to 10 volts.

Turn the HU on and be sure that some music is playing. Set the fader and balance to center and set the volume to 30. You won’t hear anything with the amp unplugged.

With the voltmeter check for a varying voltage on the following pins list below. The voltage won’t be steady; it will vary with the loudness of the music. If all the outputs test about the same your HU is good.

Just touch the voltmeter test leads to the contacts inside the large holes. Don’t push too hard or you might bend or pop the pin out. If the test probes are too fat you can use a paper clip. Don’t let the probes or pins touch each other.

let me know how you make out.
