Just use a screwdriver blade to CAREFULLY pry up the fabric-wrapped cover on the parcel shelf. Once it's lifted, GENTLY pull up to clear the tabs that the cover locks onto. After the cover is off, you'll see that the sub is held on by 4 locknuts. Disconnect the wire to the sub terminal from inside the trunk, and then unscrew the locknuts; lift the sub driver off the mounting screws...
