It's my fault.. Between the TL/CL/TSX and the merge we had about 12 stickies up top..

Anyone know the Title of the thread?

Actually, you had about 6, and most of them were how-tos.

It would really help if there were subsections:

General A/V discussion

Vehicle-specific, with the detailed how-to DIY's stickied.
TL
TSX
RL
etc.

I AGREE.. But all the knowledge into one forum like this is great.. All the subsections wouldn't have enough traffic to justify it.. Plus everyone has a chance to chime in since most A/V questions aren't really vehicle specific..

I am going to try and create a master sticky with subsections to specific vehicles with links etc... But I need the time and help..

Example:

Navi Conversion

General
(links below)

(Then any links to vehicle specific..)

How To's
(links below-vehicle specific)

It will take alot of time to gather all this info and create it..

I'm asking for help from anybody that will offer their assitance..

elduderino Clean your PM box please..

I will be happy to assist in areas that I think are realistic... navi converison on a TSX wouldn't make the list: )

And I totally disagree about vehicle-specific questions. There were a lot of TSX-specific questions asked before the merger. The real value with this kind of forum IS the vehicle specificity. The only reason I started posting about generic stuff was because it was obvious there were questions, NOT because that stuff was more valued than "how do I add an amp"?

We used to have the AUX adapter topic - but that got drained off to FAQs... that was a huge specific thing.

Now a lot of questioners think the av forum is vehicle-specific cause they saw it listed on their CL or TL or TSX page, and they ask a question with no vehicle info in it, because they think we know what they have!

Maybe you can put a sticky at the VERY top saying READ THIS BEFORE POSTING and tell people that it's a common forum and NOT to assume we all have the same car?
