2GTL oem subwoofer.....

I was wondering if anyone has removed the sub and the housing around with the 3rd brake light? I am considering removing it and building a custom box to port into the cabin of the car....any suggestions??

Just take the sub out and leave everything else. It will look the same as it does now, but there will be a hole under the cloth where the sub used to be.

No it wasn't, just a basic knowledge on a skill saw table and a router. I used a fiberglass shell so the box is not constructed out of just fiberglass, it looks like it is though and sounds great.

does the bass sound clear and loud inside the car with the sub taken out, because what i did was pull down the arm rest, and the door and it sounds louder inside.
