Question 2010 navi maps DVD

Anyone upgraded yet?

I have mine arriving tomorrow. Not expecting much but plan on sending it back if it can't at least get me somewhere without telling me to go right then left then right then left then right then left then right instead of just telling me to go down 6 blocks and hang one right like it does right now (2.05b).

lol

I got the 2009 disc and it does a good job routing now. I wonder if the Updated details are up for the 2010 yet

Just wish it had more options and an updated UI.

Gets the job done though so its worth it.

Can't say I'm impressed with the new maps DVD. Looks like I'm going to send it back and downgrade to the old maps. Now I just have to find my original DVD of the old maps instead of my backup copy.

I installed the new DVD without incident. I will give it a test run tomorrow because today we are in a snowstorm.

Yeah I had no issues installing it although I haven't had to the time to get a backup DVD to work yet. I was running a backup with my old 2002 version that worked great.
