2007 TSX Audio Upgrade
Hey guys,
Im looking to get some information on what a new audio setup would run me ( including installation). Im getting sick of the bass in this car, every time the bass goes realy strong, its as if my speakers cant take it or something .... its really annoying.
any help would be great!

Well see I have no idea what a "good" quality sound system would run. I think I could come up with a little over a grand maybe 1500 if it had to be.
But I want like top notch sound quality and really good bass in the car. Need to know places that would be trustworthy, familiar enough to setup a audio system in my car 2007 acura tsx
thanks man!!

You can get a good system for 1K installed. There are alot of variables though. Do you want to keep your stock HU and all the factory related options like blue tooth? How much bass do you want? How many speakers do you want to run?
If you can find a mercman harness that would probably be your cheapest route and keep your stock HU.

If you want to keep the factory head unit you have 2 routes you can go.
1.) get a mercman harness - im not sure if he is selling them anymore. Everything else is the conventional way of putting in an aftermarket system. Chances are you wont be able to find one.
2.) Get a LOC and tap the speaker wires from the front speakers only and AFTER the amp. Yes, you will only have one set of outputs but the signal will be most linear and sound the best. I would suggest something from AudioControl.
Also dont go to bestbuy to get your stuff installed and be sure to buy proven quality brands. Keep in mind shops will try to oversell you on things. You dont need 1000 watt amps and such.
