soo out of no where the tape deck decides to jam. Ive been using it for my ipod (ya know the cassette with the cord deal) and it just stops working, wont eject or anything except constantly even when completely shut off is trying to do something (it makes a faint ticking noise) and if i dont start my car for a couple days is drains my battery. long story short.....

dont feel like spending money on a refurbished factory deck. mght as well upgrade to maybe the pioneer @ the link above ^^^ or cheaping out and getting a single deck none touchscreen reciever....anyways i need a dash kit and cant seem to find anyone that makes one for 2004+....not gunna lie i know very little if anything about electronics and audio im more about mechanics. any suggestions on a head unit and whre to find a dashkit or one no trying to spend more than $700 total...if i have to downgrade and get this one instead http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...vers/MVH-P8200 then so be it

was planning on putting it off but unless i want to keep pulling the contact off my battery every night or eventually have to buy a new alternator i need help fast!!! lol

 

effin a cotton, just got the news that NO ONE makes a dash kit for 04+ TLs awesome. means i'd have to find someone who can custome make one. means $$$, anyone know someone who can make a custom dash kit?

how much did it cost for the custom work?

 

i had the avh 3200 installed in my 1999 tl... it is a very great fit to the car. they didn have a dash kit for mine so they custom cut the dash face from the factory player.It was a perfect fit. Cost was $100 but it was worth it. But when u install this head unit u will want to install better speakers. This head unit is very powerful
