2004 MDX navi screen says check disc. I left ignition on one night battery went dead so when I charged it up and started it the navi screen said check you disc. We took it out and put it back in didn't look scratched or dirty. Put code in for radio no problem. Navi screen still says check your disc, so I can't control where the hot or cold air is blowing it's stuck where I had it last. Menu button and the others don't do a thing with out that screen. I work the assembly line at HONDA in Marysville Ohio so I went over and asked one of the repair people what they thought. He told me to disconnect the battery terminals and touch them together for a few seconds and that should reset everything. Well that didn't work(need to tell him that) so I read on here somewhere(can't find it now) where this guy took the dvd rom out from under passenger seat and cleaned the lens himself. Said it was cheaper than sending to Alpine. Any suggestions? Can you help me find that thread? Any help would be appreciated so much. Thank you!
