Hi guys!

I've recently had trouble with my OEM stereo/cd player lately. It came up with a "ER-E1" code after trying to put in a 4th cd. Cd player stopped working so I took out the entire stereo; extracted the 4 CDs inside and now it just flashes "CHEC." Won't load any CDs.

So I figure its done for.

Now where do you guys go to buy a new one? I see people on ebay selling the same OEM stereo I have, but since I am going to buy a new one, how about an off-brand? Like one that can play cd's, my ipod and maybe even pandora stations? (perhaps the latter is too unrealistic and costs too much?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I was thinking of getting either a pioneer or kenwood off of amazon. I know to get a double din and I don't care for touch screen. I don't have any smart phone (shocking), but do have an Ipod to play music off of. I basically just want a radio, CD player and an input for my ipod.

Unfortunately I cannot tell them much apart; aside from the minor price differences. And whats "AM/FM" option? Are some not connected to the radio?
